About this Role:

Halliday just launched a new product - the first-of-its-kind Appchain Wallet - and we have hit a hockey stick in our company’s growth. We’ve been closing deals faster than ever, and with that comes a need to grow the team to handle the inbound and execute on our long-term vision for the space.

As our Head of Engineering, you will lead our integrations with clients, manage our infrastructure, optimize our internal processes, and, most importantly, manage and develop our growing team of engineers.

You will immediately become an integral member of the company’s leadership. During your time at Halliday, you will help the company scale processes from those of a small startup to those of a true market leader, and will nurture the development of the star engineers hailing from the world’s top universities and tech companies that will be reporting into you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the engineering team, fostering a continued culture of innovation and high performance, and playing a starring role in the growth and development of the organization
• Set timelines and manage workstreams across a variety of ongoing integrations and product development cycles
• Work in a highly cross-functional capacity with the CEO and leaders from Product, Business Development and Marketing
• Oversee the development of our infrastructure, ensuring security and scalability

Qualifications:

• Experience managing large high-performing teams as a Head of Engineering or in a similar role
• Exceptional cross-functional collaboration skills
• Extensive experience with blockchain technology and working in software development
• Hands-on experience in full-stack development, with an emphasis on systems expertise
• Familiarity with web services, AWS, containerization, and cloud deployment
• Located in or willing to relocate to the Bay Area
